Elegant Brunch – Ladies of Light

Elegant Brunch – Ladies of Light

When the best photographers in town get together for a brunch, they do it right! They hire the amazing Southern Traditions and Two Sweets Bake Shop to cater the event, and ask us to provide florals. The stationary was by the designed by Dogwood Blossom Stationary. China, chairs, tables, and stemware all by A Chair Affair. The entire event was brought together by Blush. Bumby hosted this elegant brunch in the backyard of their private office. It was an honor to be able to be a small part of this collaborative group of ladies, Ladies of Light. It looked delicious!

Good Counsel Camp – Rustic Outdoor Wedding

Good Counsel Camp – Rustic Outdoor Wedding

We wanted to write about the floral, but then we contacted the bride to get the story of her wedding told in her words. From our Bride, Kayla.

My husband, Stephen, and I met when we were 14 years old at a little outdoor summer camp in Floral City, Florida called Good Counsel Camp (GCC). We met as campers and our love for that place and each other grew as we continued to go summer after summer. When we were too old to be campers, we became staff and worked as counselors until we graduated from college.

After 8 years of dating and a big move from Florida to New York City, Stephen proposed at Central Park on 12/13/14. We both knew right away where we wanted to get married. GCC was our favorite place in the world and we couldn’t imagine a “best day ever” without that place.

Unfortunately, earlier that year, a fire burned down the center of and the biggest structure on GCC’s property- the Mess Hall. Without even a foundation of a new Mess Hall (aka the reception location), we agreed that we would get married there the next year. Through the generosity of other alumni and supporters who loved the camp as much as we did, it was rebuilt by the following summer… this time with AC and bathrooms (imagine a wedding without that!).

For our wedding, multiple friends, family members and vendors helped transform our little camp (not typically a venue) into an even more breathtaking place. There is nothing that will ever compare to walking down the “aisle” into the GCC chapel, a walk I had taken daily in summers past- this time ending with all my loved ones from different parts of my life under one roof. Stephen and I enjoyed every second of our ceremony and reception and feel so grateful to GCC for bringing us together.

Private Estate – Winter Haven

Private Estate – Winter Haven

We are so excited to share these photos with you!  This past January, we provided the romantic floral for Sarah and Will’s wedding at their family home in Winter Haven!  It was absolutely stunning!

For Sarah’s bridal bouquet, we used a combination of David Austin garden roses (Juliet), succulents, dusty miller, white stock, and eucalyptus to give a very airy and romantic design.  For her Maids’, we used more of a natural look of succulents, dusty miller, white stock, and eucalyptus.  For Sarah and Will’s wedding entrance, we used our sandstone urns and created an overflowing hydrangea design with pops of eucalyptus and David Austin Garden Roses.  For the reception decor, we provided a combination of our white vintage lanterns, silver candelabras, and white wash boxes with floral to top their gorgeous farmhouse tables.

This wedding  was absolutely stunning!  We hope you enjoy these photos as much as we did!

Skyline Ranch Wedding

Skyline Ranch Wedding

This past January, we had the ultimate pleasure of providing floral and decor for our lovely bride, Morgan and her handsome groom, Joe.  Their wedding was held out at Skyline Ranch in Groveland, and was simply stunning from beginning to end.

To begin, we designed Morgan a swoon-worthy cascading bridal bouquet with blush Garden Roses, queen protea, pepper berry, scabiosa pods, red and white Standard Roses, white Anenome, and greens.  This has to be one of our favorite bridal bouquets, hands down!  Along with the rest of her bridal party personals, we also designed an elegant Silver Dollar Euch crown for Morgan’s flower girl to wear.  This look was so simple and timeless!

For their ceremony, we designed stunning white Hydrangea, Stock, and Delphinium arrangements for our log stumps at their altar.  These pieces were the finishing touches to the already gorgeous scenery that surrounded the area.  Walking into their reception, we topped Morgan’s handmade chalkboard signs with cute sprigs of floral and greens.  For their reception pieces, we designed in our gold footed bowls and rose gold bud vases with some of our favorite color palettes!  We used a combination of white and blush Ranunculus, pink antique Carnations, white Anenomes, greens, and white Stock.  We loved how everything turned out and adore these photos that captured this special day.

We hope you enjoy these photos from BinaryFlips Photography as much as we did!

Bella Collina: Stephanie & Kiko

Bella Collina: Stephanie & Kiko

The day is finally here!  We are so excited to share with you the stunning wedding of Stephanie and Kiko last December at Bella Collina!

We are absolutely in love with the designs that Stephanie chose to complete her and Kiko’s special day.  To begin, we created a jaw-dropping, airy, hand-tied bridal bouquet for Stephanie that was filled with red Peonies, white Ranunculus, Garden Roses, and Greens.  For the MOH and Maids, we created unique Olive Branch bouquets.  The men wore Plum Ranunculus & Olive Branch boutonnieres!

As guests entered through Bella Collina’s entryway, we hung a floral swing above the fountain filled with Greens, Two-Toned Carnations, white Tulips & Garden Roses & Spray Roses, and Pepper Berry.  For the new Air-Force bride, she requested a custom laser cut sign in rose gold that read “Where you’ll go, I’ll go” for a unique touch to show her love and commitment.

The half-moon Ceremony stage was a new trending design of Pompass Grass backdrop for Stephanie & Kiko so stand in front of during their vows.  Each end was flanked with a stunning white Garden Rose and Greens arrangement to finish off the look!  For their Reception, lush Greens garlands as table runners for their farm tables and decorated them with red Peonies, white Roses, and Two-Toned Carnations.  We also had the pleasure of creating an arrangement for our dear friend, Terry, to be placed as a centerpiece for her dessert table!
This wedding was one for the books and obviously one of our absolute favorite designs to work on!  We hope that you enjoy these photos by Black & Hue Photography and video by Wild Light Films as much as we did!

ABC UCF Mock Wedding Event

ABC UCF Mock Wedding Event

This past December, we had the pleasure of being a Floral Sponsor for the Association of Bridal Consultants UCF Student Chapter’s end of the semester event!  With the help of our fellow vendors, we helped them create a Winter Wonderland themed Mock Wedding held at The Castle Hotel!

We created gorgeous high and low centerpieces with Blue Hydrangea and White Dendrobium Orchids on top of our gun metal footed bowls and tall candlesticks for each of the guest tables.  We also used our new white wooden arch {Thanks Diane!} and decorated it with our white drapery, hanging tea lights, and lanterns placed at the base.

We are so honored to have been apart of this event created by the next generation of event professionals!

Our Fabulous Watercolor Styled Shoot!

Our Fabulous Watercolor Styled Shoot!

Styled shoots are one of our favorite ways to showcase to clients the many different facets of design we can create!  It allows us to think big and outside the norm of what’s currently trending.  Sometimes a styled shoot is just a vision that came from a simple inspiration photo that we take and run with.

This past summer, we had the ultimate pleasure of being involved in a FABULOUS styled shoot that was designed and coordinated by Swanky I Do’s!  Watercolor was the theme for this styled shoot and it was one of our favorites by far!  The attention to detail and color combinations were absolutely flawless.

We used multiple shades of roses, stock, dendrobium orchids, and greens to create each of the phenomenal looks used throughout.  From the bouquets, to the arch floral, to the reception table and chair décor, it was such an honor to be involved in making this vision come to life.
