Winter Park Farmers Market – Southern Classic

Winter Park Farmers Market is a popular venue here in Orlando, and we love when our brides make it unique! Patrick and Laura chose a rustic and vintage design for their wedding. Everything from the babies breath that lined their aisle to the stacked vintage books on their ceremony tables was as unique as Patrick and Laura.

For the brides bouquet we used only the best flowers! From the gorgeous Juliet garden roses, the amazing blush clooney ranunculus, to the pop of blue from the thistle that finished it perfectly. Her bouquet is certainly one for the books! The sequined gold bridesmaids dresses and quirky groomsmen suits were a stylish finishing touch for this fun wedding.

Mission Inn Marina – Babies Breath Beauties

We loved the elegance and simplicity of Stephanie and Brian’s wedding!  They held their special day at the Mission Inn Marina Del Rey.

We designed Stephanie’s lovely bridal bouquet with babies breath and blush & white gerber daisies.  We designed her maids’ bouquets with babies breath and white gerber daisies.  For their ceremony, we designed babies breath inside her hanging lantern jars with streaming ribbons.  For their reception, we scattered babies breath around candlelight centerpieces for half of their guest tables, and then placed babies breath lantern jars for the other half.

We hope you enjoy these photos just as much as we did!

Good Counsel Camp – Rustic Outdoor Wedding

We wanted to write about the floral, but then we contacted the bride to get the story of her wedding told in her words. From our Bride, Kayla.

My husband, Stephen, and I met when we were 14 years old at a little outdoor summer camp in Floral City, Florida called Good Counsel Camp (GCC). We met as campers and our love for that place and each other grew as we continued to go summer after summer. When we were too old to be campers, we became staff and worked as counselors until we graduated from college.

After 8 years of dating and a big move from Florida to New York City, Stephen proposed at Central Park on 12/13/14. We both knew right away where we wanted to get married. GCC was our favorite place in the world and we couldn’t imagine a “best day ever” without that place.

Unfortunately, earlier that year, a fire burned down the center of and the biggest structure on GCC’s property- the Mess Hall. Without even a foundation of a new Mess Hall (aka the reception location), we agreed that we would get married there the next year. Through the generosity of other alumni and supporters who loved the camp as much as we did, it was rebuilt by the following summer… this time with AC and bathrooms (imagine a wedding without that!).

For our wedding, multiple friends, family members and vendors helped transform our little camp (not typically a venue) into an even more breathtaking place. There is nothing that will ever compare to walking down the “aisle” into the GCC chapel, a walk I had taken daily in summers past- this time ending with all my loved ones from different parts of my life under one roof. Stephen and I enjoyed every second of our ceremony and reception and feel so grateful to GCC for bringing us together.

In a World Full of Wildflowers…

Wow!  We are so excited to share these fantastic photos from Samantha and Thor’s wedding day with you!  Samantha and Thor’s vision for their special day was rustic and wildflower-esque.  They celebrated their nuptials at the FFA Leadership Training Center in Haines City, Florida.

We created whimsical bouquets for her Maids filled with greenery, white wax flowers, white monte casino, and blue delphinium.  For Samantha’s bridal bouquet however, we designed more of a romantic look complete with white monte casino, white scabiosa, babies breath, white wax flowers, white spray roses, blue delphinium, and greenery.  For their ceremony, we designed hanging floral pieces for her rustic barn door entrance filled with white monte casino, white wax flowers, babies breath, and greenery.  These doors made for the perfect touch to this rustic ceremony!  For the aisle, we designed babies breath arrangements inside blue-laced mason jars that sat on top of tree stumps that Thor cut down himself!

We just love the attention to detail that Samantha and Thor had for their wedding day!  What a beautiful wedding this was!  We hope you enjoy these photos as much as we did!

Lake Ashby Farms – Rustic Elegance

These photos from Samantha and Michael’s wedding day are just amazing!  We had a blast creating and designing their rustic elegant vision.  They held their wedding at Lake Ashby Farms in New Smyrna Beach, Florida.

For Samantha’s bridal bouquet, we designed using coral roses, blush ranunculus, blush astilbe, blush tulips, succulents, and white stock.  For her Maids’, we designed more of a wild look, with white monte casino, white alstroemeria, white wax flowers, white stock, white veronica, and seeded eucalyptus.  For Michael and his Groomsmens’ boutonnieres, we designed using spray roses, eucalyptus, and astilbe inside of shotgun shells.

For their ceremony, we laid white roses with streaming ribbons on their memory table for loved ones.

For their reception, we designed stunning arrangements inside their gold and burlap/lace wrapped mason jars.  We used a combination of white hydrangea, coral roses, blush alstroemeria, white wax, and white stock.

We absolutely love the little details that make this wedding!  We hope you enjoy these photos as much as we did!

Cassie and Justin’s Romantic Mission Inn Wedding

If these wedding photos don’t make you swoon, I don’t know what will!  We are in LOVE with these gorgeous photos captured by our dear friend, Kathy Thomas!  Each photo she captured is just as romantic as the next!  Cassie and Justin’s wedding was held at the Mission Inn Resort’s Legends wedding site.  We used a combination of David Austin roses, spray roses, and babies breath to create Cassie’s stunning bridal bouquet, bridesmaids bouquets, and flower girl halos!  It was such a pleasure to have had the opportunity to assist with Cassie and Justin’s big day!

Fall Perfect Wedding Guide Show

We had the ultimate pleasure of being a part of the Perfect Wedding Guide show this past Fall!  As the show’s Floral Sponsor, we had the opportunity to create many different bouquet styles for the Fashion Show.  It was here that we had the chance to showcase the many design styles of Bluegrass Chic!  We, of course, included our signature look with a peach rose, babies breath, seeded euch, and succulent bouquet.  Then, we added a rustic all wax flower and babies breath bouquet that brought us back to our southern roots!  We showed off our modern side with a bouquet made with all greens and cabbage, and our funky colorful hydrangea bouquet.  Last but not least, we portrayed our elegant side with a romantic cascading black baccara rose and black mini calla lily bouquet.  We had an absolute blast making the flower girl’s babies’ breath and wax flower halo and pomander ball.  The unique boutonnieres for the groomsmen and groom were a favorite of ours, as well!  We had so much fun designing for this great event and can’t wait to do it again in the future!

Winter Park Farmer’s Market

When burlap and lace come together, brides in Central Florida call Bluegrass Chic. With Kentucky Moonshine, lace wrapped mason jars, burlap flowers, wood slices, twine wrapped bottles and floral, this created a rustic centerpiece. The aisle at Winter Park Farmer’s Market was set with lanterns and rose petals. The alter area had a birch wood arch with lace and floral. Cake was topped with garden roses and greenery.

The Acre – Summer Fun

That moment when you meet a couple and you can see the love for one another, that is what I saw when I met Rebecca and Derek. We had participated in a photo shoot once before at The Acre, and fell in love. This fun, eclectic venue is just our style. Located just north of downtown, it is the perfect venue for someone wanting a vintage feel but while staying local.

Rebecca wanted to keep things simple with flowers. She wanted bright yellow and white flowers to compliment the navy and white dresses. When a bride mentions gerbera daisy, I know we are going to have a good time. Some flowers are just for fun loving brides!

Quantum Leap – Elopement to Reception

From large scale wedding and events, to the romantic elopement in Paris, we can say… Yes! This lovely couple eloped to Paris and then returned to have a reception to celebrate at the beautiful Quantum Leap Winery. We provided the floral and decor items to finish their look. She wanted a rustic but romantic look. We coupled rustic cake stands with over-flowing flowers with wood boxes of floral. This with lanterns, burlap and more candles bring the romantic look into the winery. Of course, some market lighting (Get Lit), farm tables and those gorgeous French Country Chairs (A Chair Affair), brings this entire look together.
