Quantum Leap Winery- Rustic Charm

Going back to our roots: we love doing southern style weddings! For the brides bouquet we used dusty miller, blush garden roses, queens anne lace, succulents, brunia, and eucalyptus. For a nice cohesive look, we used the same floral for the bridesmaids but created a more textured and messy look. The bouquets looked perfect with the soft pink bridesmaids dresses.

The rustic centerpieces also flowed in sync with the venue. Quantum Leap is one of our favorite venues and it’s not only because of their delicious wine! The winery is the epitome of rustic charm and the soft pinks and textures created a fun atmosphere for this southern wedding.

Summer Wedding Expos-2016

The Bluegrass Chic ladies have been hard at work to meet the new brides of summer 2016! The first wedding expo we did this summer was the PWG wedding expo at The Hilton Orlando on May 1st. We chose to do a beach theme for our booth. For our tablescape we used large pieces of drift wood and covered it with floral! We used white hydrangea, white football mums, white tibet roses, white stock, and dusty miller. We furthered our look with starfish, seashells, sea glass, and candles. We were also chosen to provide a beautiful array of bridal bouquets for PWG’s runway show and floral for their VIP room. For the VIP room, we played with an Earth and fire theme creating our look with all kinds of greens and red, yellow, and orange floral and textures.

On August 21st, at the Wedding Expo also at The Hilton Orlando, our team created a rustic and romantic french market experience. Our large wood doors were a show stopper as new couples walked the expo. To further this look, we used wine crates, rustic lanterns, a birdcage, and some of our gorgeous rental signs on one side of our booth. On the other side we had three tiers of flower buckets for our brides to take home with them! The flowers did not stop there, we created a bridal bouquet, halo, and chair sashes of beautiful red freedom roses, white tibet roses, ester roses, brown agnus, red ranunculus, and lots of greens. For our tablescape, we designed a garland for the center of the table with a romantic centerpiece surrounded by twinkly candles.

Thank you PWG and The Wedding Expo for allowing us to meet the new brides of 2016!

Private Estate – Winter Haven

We are so excited to share these photos with you!  This past January, we provided the romantic floral for Sarah and Will’s wedding at their family home in Winter Haven!  It was absolutely stunning!

For Sarah’s bridal bouquet, we used a combination of David Austin garden roses (Juliet), succulents, dusty miller, white stock, and eucalyptus to give a very airy and romantic design.  For her Maids’, we used more of a natural look of succulents, dusty miller, white stock, and eucalyptus.  For Sarah and Will’s wedding entrance, we used our sandstone urns and created an overflowing hydrangea design with pops of eucalyptus and David Austin Garden Roses.  For the reception decor, we provided a combination of our white vintage lanterns, silver candelabras, and white wash boxes with floral to top their gorgeous farmhouse tables.

This wedding  was absolutely stunning!  We hope you enjoy these photos as much as we did!

Taylor and Dallin’s Winter Garden Theatre Ever After!

This past June, we had the ultimate pleasure of creating Taylor and Dallins’s dream wedding reception by incorporating their love of literature into every table!  This gorgeous wedding was held at the Garden Theatre with the ceremony taking place on the main stage!  Each tablescape was completed with either books or lanterns, our lovely floral, and then named with a famous author.  We used a combination of garden roses, dusty miller, ranunculus, seeded euch, spray roses, and dahlias for each of these stunning looks!  We absolutely love the pops of color in the floral that the newlyweds chose to incorporate into their special night.  This wedding was truly a love story!

Winter Park Farmer’s Market

When burlap and lace come together, brides in Central Florida call Bluegrass Chic. With Kentucky Moonshine, lace wrapped mason jars, burlap flowers, wood slices, twine wrapped bottles and floral, this created a rustic centerpiece. The aisle at Winter Park Farmer’s Market was set with lanterns and rose petals. The alter area had a birch wood arch with lace and floral. Cake was topped with garden roses and greenery.

Dubsdread – Sweet Country Chic

Creating a warm and welcoming country chic wedding comes natural to us at Bluegrass Chic. Today we take you to Historic Dubsdread, a central Florida wedding venue full of “rustic charm and vintage elegance”.

A beautiful wedding ceremony took place under every southern gal’s fairytale garland of burlap, babies’ breath and pale pink carnations entwined in an elegant scrolled wedding arch. Sweet bouquets of babies breath and touches of soft pink limonium were tied with ribbon onto the aisle seating and were to be repurposed as centerpieces during the reception. Repurposing your floral arrangements and bridesmaids’ bouquets from ceremony to reception can be a fantastic way to continue your specific wedding décor style and save money.

Reception tables with sweet and delicate floral centerpieces, mason jars, lace, twine wrapped wine bottles, and burlap runners brought out the Dubsdread Ballroom’s rustic charm. Tea light candles surrounding the country chic wood slices added warmth and elegance.

Bluegrass Chic welcomes any wedding style from city slick to country chic but sometimes it just feels “right” to be swimming in burlap and lace.

Royal Crest Room

Our couples winter wedding at the Royal Crest Room was teeming with romantic details and saturated burgundy hues. The bride’s bouquet was a gorgeous arrangement of amnesia roses, burgundy mums, purple cabbage, brunia, dusty miller, antique hydrangea, ranunculus, and succulents.

The ceremony was dressed with burgundy cones filled with rosemary and mint (the flower shop smelled lovely, when we made these!). The reception centerpieces were a combination of tall arrangements flowing out of the most beautiful candelabras and shorter arrangements in silver bowls with mirror glass.

Some of our brides choose not to come in for a consultation and trust our vision with the details after phone and email conversations, Corissa was one of those brides. After her wedding she wrote a kind review of our services, in it she said “Despite only meeting in passing on my wedding day Michelle nailed my vision through phone and email conversations. We had the most beautiful and unique wedding flowers! The day before the wedding she texted me photos of my bouquet and made some minor changes I requested. Flexible and responsive vendors are so important for stress free wedding planning!” Corissa, we agree, your wedding was most beautiful and we wish you nothing but the best with your new husband!

Peachtree House Wedding

If you read our last post, you know how much we adore the Peachtree House, so we
were thrilled when we were asked to be a part of Nikole and Joe’s romantic
wedding there on Saturday! Nikole has known the owners, Ashlie and Hugh Darley,
of the Peachtree House for years and is practically another sister to their
daughters, it was evident her wedding was especially dear to their hearts.
Nikole and Joe were on a tight budget, but that didn’t mean compromised service
or elegance for their January wedding.

When we arrived, all members of the Darley family were helping to rake the
leaves, hang the lights, place the tables, spray the sidewalks and make sure
every area from the entry to the farthest edge of the estate was ready for the
big day. It was a family affair and heartwarming to see the passion they poured
into making sure everything was just right for Nikole.

The ceremony took place on the back lawn facing the house. We hung seeded
eucalyptus, magnolia leaf garlands with brunia and ivory roses on the back two
chairs and placed two urns of hydrangea at the alter to frame their picture
perfect ceremony. In the reception area, Nikole chose a beautiful gray linen
that looked lovely with centerpieces made of green moss, orchids, and
candelabras surrounded by votives for extra warmth. We dressed the sweetheart
table in a similar manner and hung additional garlands across their chairs.
Market lights were hung overhead to add additional light and sparkle! After
dinner, guests discovered sweet details on the cake table, which was decorated
with eucalyptus, brunia, and ivory spray roses.

Best wishes to the new Mr. & Mrs. Churchville!

Mission Inn – Legends

Working with this bride was a true delight. There are certain flowers that help you to know the brides personality, Gerber daisies are one of them. To me, it means the bride is fun and outgoing. That was this beautiful bride.

She had us create a bouquet of green, yellow and white. Some of my favorite bright and cheery colors. The bride carried succulents, gerbers, dusty miller, football mums, succulents, craspedia, seeded euch and queens ann lace. The bridesmaids carried alstroemeria, succulents, seeded euch, Gerber daisy, craspedia and queens ann lace. IMG_3077.JPG

Leu Gardens

20140222-201311.jpg
A rainout at Leu Gardens today was not an upset when the inside wedding location is so beautiful also. Our bride was a fan of the organic cotton, babies breath, burlap and mason jars. We added some white wash boxes with hydrangea, black bacarra roses, burgundy ranuculus, ivory standard roses, dusty miller, and seeded eucalyptus. Other tables were set with babies breath bouquets dropped into the white wash boxes. The flower girl was absolutely adorable with a full skirt and a babies breath halo.
