Bella Collina – Tuscan Elegance

Daniel and Jessica’s day could not have been more perfect. On a sunny Saturday in April, Montverde provided a stunning backdrop on a day this couple will never forget. The wedding was filled with deep, jewel-toned blooms ranging from an extensive arch piece to their reception centerpieces. We loved the bride’s adventurous side that allowed us to add some lesser seen product, such as the gorgeous red Amaranthus, Celosia as well as use one of our favorite flowers – Peonies! This elegant wedding matched the venue’s “Spirit of Tuscany” perfectly and combined to create one of the most gorgeous events. We are so glad we got to be a part of their day!

Capen House- Photo Perfect!

We had an absolute blast working with Damon Tucci Photography, Michele Butler, and Bridal Collection on this fun photo shoot! The Capen house was a beautiful backdrop for our light and airy bouquets and arrangements! The dresses from the Bridal collection were simply stunning. Damon Tucci Photography did an amazing job capturing the charm of the venue, dress, and floral.  It was so much fun working with everyone!

Orlando Science Center – Dangerously Romantic

When a bride comes to us with an inspiration that includes succulents, rosemary, lavender and eucalyptus, they have our attention. With an inspiration photo of a bouquet, we created a stunning bouquet for her and her maids dressed in mint. They stood in front of a white arch with floral of lavender, white and greenery. The cake was topped with a bride and groom dinosaur, yes you heard that right! We dressed the cake with cascading floral, succulents and greens. This was a dangerously romantic wedding that we were thrilled to be part of!!

Leu Gardens – Irish Wedding

We really enjoyed designing this romantic, almost all green wedding with a touch of white and thistles. This stunning bride with the most gorgeous red hair wore a romantic lace gown with a stunning shawl draped over her arms as she walked down the aisle. Her maids wore a soft teal and a gray shawl draped with green and white bouquets. The bride carried a soft cascading bouquet with queens ann lace, brunia, thistles, green hydrangea, garden roses and amaranthus. The ceremony was moved inside for weather, but we moved their birchwood ceremony arch inside with corner floral of white hydrangea, ivy, thistle and amaranthus. The couple had a bagpiper in honor of their heritage to start and end the ceremony.

Mission Inn – Networking Lunch

We were honored when asked to design floral arrangements for a recent networking lunch at one of our favorite venues, Mission Inn. We were able to set the mood for the social affair with fun and unique tropical designs using simple arrangements of hydrangea and greens in golden caraway vases. Golden pineapples and ivy draped on the chandeliers brightened up the room and added a brilliant final touch to bring the tropical feel together!

Lake Nona Country Club – Cobalt Blue

Floral arrangements can truly be a reflection of a brides style and personality. Every once in a while, they’ll provide us with their own vases to truly emphasize their unique vision. These Cobalt Blue assorted vases breathe new life to the classic idea of all white floral arrangements. Beautiful all on their own, adorning each with varying bundles of stock, hydrangea and Tulips brought smiles to our faces! Set against the sleek and classic backdrop of Lake Nona Country Club, the white arrangements  with subtle hints and accents of blue where the perfect design for this elegant wedding.

Cypress Grove~Chic and Classic

We were just tickled to work with one of our favorite Tickled Pink ladies, Michelle Moyer, on her most special day. Cypress Grove created a beautiful backdrop for her gorgeous wedding. We had fun using some of Bluegrass Chic favorite flowers such as the panda anemone, sweet fragrant Juliet garden rose, berries, and succulents of course! This whimsical bouquet was filled with many of the ivory and peachy/blush elements to create a timeless image. The reception and tables where some of our favorite. There where a mixture of wood slices, garland, and bud vases that gave a very chic and romantic feel. What an an amazing day with an fantastic team!

Two Sweets Bridal Shower Table; pink peonies, David Austin roses, pink spray roses, and lisianthus
Bluegrass Chic recently had the pleasure of working with Terry Smedley. Terry (formerly of Save The Date, Planning, Design and Coordination), had an excellent idea for featuring her new company, Two Sweets Bake Shop. She designed a shoot for a Bridal Shower, where she featured her “Sweets” for a candy and dessert buffet. Two Sweets has some amazing products; one featured in this shoot was her gumball necklaces. They are strung on satin ribbon, with large gumballs, and beautifully crafted flowers to make the look truly high-end.

She brought Bluegrass Chic on to create some accent floral, and Sivan Photography to shoot the entire thing. The flowers we used were all done in blush colors. We used pink peonies, David Austin garden roses, light pink spray roses, white lisianthus, magnolia, white hydrangea and blush pink roses. These flowers were designed in her silver tea pots and coffee pots. No detail was left undone, even the napkins were monogrammed for the event. Silver platters, white glass cake stands, and a birdcage were topped with macaroons, cookies, cakes, candy lips, and cupcakes.

Bluegrass Chic was honored to be part of this shoot. What a great group of professionals. Special thanks to the following vendors.
