Quantum Leap Winery- Rustic Charm

Quantum Leap Winery- Rustic Charm

Going back to our roots: we love doing southern style weddings! For the brides bouquet we used dusty miller, blush garden roses, queens anne lace, succulents, brunia, and eucalyptus. For a nice cohesive look, we used the same floral for the bridesmaids but created a more textured and messy look. The bouquets looked perfect with the soft pink bridesmaids dresses.

The rustic centerpieces also flowed in sync with the venue. Quantum Leap is one of our favorite venues and it’s not only because of their delicious wine! The winery is the epitome of rustic charm and the soft pinks and textures created a fun atmosphere for this southern wedding.

Leu Gardens – Irish Wedding

Leu Gardens – Irish Wedding

We really enjoyed designing this romantic, almost all green wedding with a touch of white and thistles. This stunning bride with the most gorgeous red hair wore a romantic lace gown with a stunning shawl draped over her arms as she walked down the aisle. Her maids wore a soft teal and a gray shawl draped with green and white bouquets. The bride carried a soft cascading bouquet with queens ann lace, brunia, thistles, green hydrangea, garden roses and amaranthus. The ceremony was moved inside for weather, but we moved their birchwood ceremony arch inside with corner floral of white hydrangea, ivy, thistle and amaranthus. The couple had a bagpiper in honor of their heritage to start and end the ceremony.

Windermere – Private Estate Wedding

Windermere – Private Estate Wedding

Working on this design was a dream come true. The family trusted us to create this romantic, garden feel at their private home in Windermere. A year in advance we started this design, visited the estate, coordinated with tent and planners, ordering supplies, drape and additional vases to complete the look. Every minute was worth it to get the finished design.

The couple was married under the tree that was planted the year the Bride was born. With the maids wearing blush, carrying green and white bouquets of garden roses, Queens Ann lace, eucalyptus and stock. The bride carried a mixed hand-tied bouquet of Juliet garden roses, ranunculus, stock, Queens Ann lace, eucalyptus and spray roses. Their ceremony was complete and they were rushed away to steal a few minutes alone on the property. One captured on the dock during sunset!

The tables were a mix of round and family style. Each was dressed with multiple vessels of hydrangea, Juliet garden roses, dusty miller, stock, spray roses and eucalyptus. Globes were hung from the center of the tent and above the head table with floral and tea lights. The night wasn’t complete without the first dance, which the bride’s mother couldn’t wait to share with me the next morning, it was EPIC! At the end of the evening, the family surprised the guests with a spectacular fireworks display.

Thank you for allowing us to share your wedding. It was one of our favorites by far.

Diana and James’ Happily Ever After!

We had an absolute blast creating these bright and colorful bouquets for Diana this past month at the Mission Inn Fontana & Hacienda!  Her bridal bouquet just pops with color against her bridesmaid’s bouquets!  We used a combination of roses, queens ann lace, brunia, dusty miller, and ferns to created these lush arrangements.  We are so honored to have provided for Diana and James wedding!  Congratulations!

Windermere Country Club – Vintage

Windermere Country Club – Vintage

What can we say about this beautiful wedding! Stunning…

Kat with Unicorn events and Medalys carefully planned every little detail of this wedding together. It was such a pleasure to work with them both. Medalys went with a color palette of coral, peach, mint and white. We worked together to create the floral and decor with a vintage vibe. The ceremony was on the beautiful golf course at Windermere Country Club. We setup our new doors with some wine crates, antique milk glass, Kat’s sewing table and some lanterns for accents. This paired with some floral at the top of the doors set the stage. Her aisle was marked with ribbons and lanterns to create the path for Happily Ever After!

The cocktail was set with vintage blue mason jars with one single (gorgeous) Coral Charm Peony, and a few votive candles.

Reception consisted of several different designs to keep with the vintage feel. Wine crates, mini mason jars, lace, burlap, mercury and milk glass adorned the tables in various configurations. The floral consisted of succulents, seeded eucalyptus, peach spray roses, Queens Ann lace, babies breath, and Amsterdam standard roses. It was a event worth blogging!!! Enjoy.

Two Sweet Bake Shop Tasting

Two Sweet Bake Shop Tasting

When Terry from Two Sweets Bake Shop asked us to design the floral for her private tasting, of course we said YES! Her desserts are delicious, designs of her tables are exquisitely planned, and the vendors she brings in to complete the look are top notch. We are honored that we are on her “go to” list of vendors.

When she mentioned the colors she was wanting, I had already pulled an inspiration picture that was right up her alley. When I sent it to Terry, she replied with, “You know me so well!” We created 5 small terra cotta pots of floral for the cocktail tables, and 2 white wash boxes for the dessert table. Did I mention she makes chicken and waffles! My favorite southern food!

Working with this family to create her design was an absolute pleasure. Haley’s mother and Bonnie from Mobella sent us pictures of ideas she liked to create her own unique design. Her wedding and reception were both at the Federation of Garden Clubs in Winter Park, and it was a beautiful day. The entire event was captured by the talented Rachel V Photography.
