Mission Inn Marina – Blush and Navy Nautical Romance

Mission Inn Marina – Blush and Navy Nautical Romance

Meghan and Dustin’s big day at Mission Inn Resort’s beautiful Marina del Rey on Saturday, March 11, 2017! The bride and her family were a pleasure to work with throughout the planning process. She had dreamed of a wedding of blush and ivory floral with accents of green down by the lake. With a birch arch and wine barrels as their alter, adorned with floral. This picture perfect ceremony was one for the books.

Leu Gardens – Something Old, New, Borrowed and Blue

Leu Gardens – Something Old, New, Borrowed and Blue

Something old, something new, something borrowed and something blue! This bride created a garden themed wedding with ease at the gorgeous Leu Gardens. Gretchen requested a bouquet with a loose airy feel with blush, champagne, ivory and greens. It consisted of blush and ivory roses, ranunculus, stock, eucalyptus and Italian ruscus. This has now become one of our most requested bouquets.

The boutonnieres were made of ranunculus and greens tied off with brown ribbon. The maids wore soft blue gowns and carried a bouquet of white ranunculus, veronica and greens. The adorable flower girl was adorned with a halo of greenery. Half of the centerpieces were a collection of bud vases with white and blush floral. While the other half were a black lantern with lush floral peeking out of the windows. The sweetheart table had a simple greenery garland resting on the front of the table with a vintage tablecloth.

Isola Farms Rustic Wedding

Isola Farms Rustic Wedding

Who would have thought that we would have had the pleasure of providing floral for one of our past employees so soon?!  We absolutely loved the style of Paige and Ben’s wedding at Isola Farms this past Summer!  We used a combination of purple & white tulips, purple wax, mini green & purple hydrangea, green trick, dark purple lisianthus, purple stock, spray roses, sheet moss, seeded euch, queens ann lace, and succulents to complete this whimsical look!

From the cake floral, to the arrangments on the reception tables, to the bouquets themselves, this wedding was absolutely gorgeous and definitely one for the books!  This unique, farm venue is located in Central Florida. Unlike other venues, this one provides so much to their clients wanting that country vibe. Mismatched chairs, farm tables, mismatched china, horses and wide open spaces.

Paige wore a stunning a-line gown with a pair of her favorite boots. Her maids were in varying shades of purple from plum to lavender all wearing their boots as well! If you are looking for some stylish footwear for your wedding, check out King Ranch for boots for her or him.

Congratulations Paige and Ben!  We are so happy to have provided for you two!

Orlando Science Center – Dangerously Romantic

Orlando Science Center – Dangerously Romantic

When a bride comes to us with an inspiration that includes succulents, rosemary, lavender and eucalyptus, they have our attention. With an inspiration photo of a bouquet, we created a stunning bouquet for her and her maids dressed in mint. They stood in front of a white arch with floral of lavender, white and greenery. The cake was topped with a bride and groom dinosaur, yes you heard that right! We dressed the cake with cascading floral, succulents and greens. This was a dangerously romantic wedding that we were thrilled to be part of!!

Quantum Leap Winery- Rustic Charm

Quantum Leap Winery- Rustic Charm

Going back to our roots: we love doing southern style weddings! For the brides bouquet we used dusty miller, blush garden roses, queens anne lace, succulents, brunia, and eucalyptus. For a nice cohesive look, we used the same floral for the bridesmaids but created a more textured and messy look. The bouquets looked perfect with the soft pink bridesmaids dresses.

The rustic centerpieces also flowed in sync with the venue. Quantum Leap is one of our favorite venues and it’s not only because of their delicious wine! The winery is the epitome of rustic charm and the soft pinks and textures created a fun atmosphere for this southern wedding.

Winter Park Farmers Market – Southern Classic

Winter Park Farmers Market – Southern Classic

Winter Park Farmers Market is a popular venue here in Orlando, and we love when our brides make it unique! Patrick and Laura chose a rustic and vintage design for their wedding. Everything from the babies breath that lined their aisle to the stacked vintage books on their ceremony tables was as unique as Patrick and Laura.

For the brides bouquet we used only the best flowers! From the gorgeous Juliet garden roses, the amazing blush clooney ranunculus, to the pop of blue from the thistle that finished it perfectly. Her bouquet is certainly one for the books! The sequined gold bridesmaids dresses and quirky groomsmen suits were a stylish finishing touch for this fun wedding.

Peachtree House- Vintage Elegance

Peachtree House- Vintage Elegance

Some vendors might think working with a couple that lives across the pond is a difficult task, but we embrace it! This lovely couple came to us all the way from England and gave us a little over two months to get their vision from paper to wedding day. But here at Bluegrass Chic, we love a challenge!

We came up with a design plan based on the brides inspiration and gave it life with just one simple request from the groom: to use proteas from his native country, South Africa. Using the proteas, the brides bouquet was very unique with various textures and colors. The bridesmaids took a more classic look using creams, blush, and greens.

Peachtree house is a gorgeous property with a sea of ferns and rose bushes so it does not need much help to be event ready. For a few last minute touches we added a rustic floral piece to the arch, that had hanging amaranthus and greens and a spray of silver dollar eucalyptus on the guest book table that was a tribute to the couples many travels. The bride and groom’s unique style was on full display at this very romantic and  vintage wedding!
