Luxmore Grande Estate- Jewel Toned Romance

Katie and Austin’s was nothing but a show stopper at the Luxmore Grande Estate 2/4/17. We simply adored being a part of this loving couples special day. The contrasting shades of white and red hues made an unforgettable vision their guests will not soon forget. We loved working with all the different textures of greenery, succulents, cabbage, twine, wood, and sleek metal. Her bouquet was designed with contrasting colors to make the jewel toned floral pop! We created enchanting centerpieces with hanging globes on a whimsical tree. It was a gorgeous day filled with a ton of love.  We were just tickled to be working with these amazing vendors! Can’t wait till our next Luxmore Grande Estate wedding!

Orlando Science Center – Dangerously Romantic

When a bride comes to us with an inspiration that includes succulents, rosemary, lavender and eucalyptus, they have our attention. With an inspiration photo of a bouquet, we created a stunning bouquet for her and her maids dressed in mint. They stood in front of a white arch with floral of lavender, white and greenery. The cake was topped with a bride and groom dinosaur, yes you heard that right! We dressed the cake with cascading floral, succulents and greens. This was a dangerously romantic wedding that we were thrilled to be part of!!

Quantum Leap Winery- Rustic Charm

Going back to our roots: we love doing southern style weddings! For the brides bouquet we used dusty miller, blush garden roses, queens anne lace, succulents, brunia, and eucalyptus. For a nice cohesive look, we used the same floral for the bridesmaids but created a more textured and messy look. The bouquets looked perfect with the soft pink bridesmaids dresses.

The rustic centerpieces also flowed in sync with the venue. Quantum Leap is one of our favorite venues and it’s not only because of their delicious wine! The winery is the epitome of rustic charm and the soft pinks and textures created a fun atmosphere for this southern wedding.

Peachtree House -Rustic Elegance

When people ask us what our specialty is, we say Rustic Elegance. Sometimes that is hard to understand as those words usually don’t go together. Although this wedding will help everyone understand how elegant, rustic can be.

We set the stage at the beautiful Peachtree House in College Park. The bride and groom choose the fabulous Chris Glenn to capture the entire event. The details from this wedding surpass almost any other we have done before, styled by Mobella Events. From the floating floral monogram, ceremony cross, driftwood centerpieces, gold candelabras, Spanish moss and orchid aisle, to the Star Wars guests. Yes, you heard me right… Star Wars Darth Vader and a couple of Storm Troupers to entertain the guests. This wedding is one for the books for sure!

Lake Ashby Farms – Rustic Elegance

These photos from Samantha and Michael’s wedding day are just amazing!  We had a blast creating and designing their rustic elegant vision.  They held their wedding at Lake Ashby Farms in New Smyrna Beach, Florida.

For Samantha’s bridal bouquet, we designed using coral roses, blush ranunculus, blush astilbe, blush tulips, succulents, and white stock.  For her Maids’, we designed more of a wild look, with white monte casino, white alstroemeria, white wax flowers, white stock, white veronica, and seeded eucalyptus.  For Michael and his Groomsmens’ boutonnieres, we designed using spray roses, eucalyptus, and astilbe inside of shotgun shells.

For their ceremony, we laid white roses with streaming ribbons on their memory table for loved ones.

For their reception, we designed stunning arrangements inside their gold and burlap/lace wrapped mason jars.  We used a combination of white hydrangea, coral roses, blush alstroemeria, white wax, and white stock.

We absolutely love the little details that make this wedding!  We hope you enjoy these photos as much as we did!

Private Estate – Winter Haven

We are so excited to share these photos with you!  This past January, we provided the romantic floral for Sarah and Will’s wedding at their family home in Winter Haven!  It was absolutely stunning!

For Sarah’s bridal bouquet, we used a combination of David Austin garden roses (Juliet), succulents, dusty miller, white stock, and eucalyptus to give a very airy and romantic design.  For her Maids’, we used more of a natural look of succulents, dusty miller, white stock, and eucalyptus.  For Sarah and Will’s wedding entrance, we used our sandstone urns and created an overflowing hydrangea design with pops of eucalyptus and David Austin Garden Roses.  For the reception decor, we provided a combination of our white vintage lanterns, silver candelabras, and white wash boxes with floral to top their gorgeous farmhouse tables.

This wedding  was absolutely stunning!  We hope you enjoy these photos as much as we did!

Moroccan Tea Party!

Last month, we were so honored to have participated in such a creative and artistic styled shoot with our fabulous frendors!  The theme of this shoot was a Moroccan Tea Party, and it was just stunning!

We designed a breathtaking garden of succulents inside of a handmade table from A Girl and Her Glitter that was made just for this shoot!  We used all shades and shapes of succulents and arranged them carefully onto the moss backdrop.  The outcome was fantastic and we could not have been more thrilled!  For the bridal bouquet, we designed an airy greens bouquet with pops of succulents inside.

This styled shoot was one to remember and we are so thrilled to have had the pleasure of working beside such creative professionals!  We hope you enjoy these photos taken by the lovely, Kristen Weaver and the fantastic video made by Jeffrey Stoner!

Rustic Isola Farms Wedding

Who would have thought that we would have had the pleasure of providing floral for one of our past employees?!  We absolutely loved the style of Paige and Ben’s wedding at Isola Farms this past Summer!  We used a combination of purple & white tulips, purple wax, mini green & purple hydrangea, green trick, dark purple lisianthus, purple stock, spray roses, sheet moss, seeded euch, queens ann lace, and succulents to complete this whimsical look!  From the cake floral, to the arrangments on the reception tables, to the bouquets themselves, this wedding was absolutely gorgeous and definitely one for the books!  Congratulations Paige and Ben!  We are so happy to have provided for you two!

Tiffany Blue, Baby Blue and Navy Flowers

We love trying to incorporate any color the client wishes into the bouquets, ceremony and centerpieces. Some colors are easier than others because they come in a variety of different flowers. Others, like navy are not so easy. Here are a few of my go to depending on the time of year:

  • Anemone – feathery white flower with navy or black center (available November to May)
  • Thistle, Supernova, Echinops or Blue bell – ranges in size and color from blue to navy with a hint of gray (different seasons for each variety)
  • Nigella – soft blue with a messy wildflower crown, perfect for light blue/gray (available July and August)
  • Scabiosa – delicate lightweight petals with a beautifully textured center that resembles a globe (available April through June)
  • Muscari (Grape Hyacinth) – royal blue with a miniture grape look, great for texture and variety (available November through March)
  • Cornflower – bright blue with a darker center, looks like a bright crown perfect for a bouquet or enriching a centerpiece with a pop of color (available June through August)
  • Delphenium – ranges from a light blue to a bright blue. Would be great for adding blooms to a bouquet or boutonniere, large ceremony displays with sprays of color, or adding height to a centerpiece (available year round)
  • Hydrangea – the most common are a light blue, useful for making a background color for a bouquet, filler for ceremony or a base for a centerpiece. There is also a very bright blue out of Holland, absolutely stunning but with a hefty price tag. I will warn you, make sure your florist knows where to use these beauties depending on the season. Using them without a water source during intense heat is not a good idea. (available year round)
  • Dyed and tinted flowers – almost any flower can be tinted or dyed to match your wedding. When this is professionally done, it can look flawless and compliment any color scheme. A few that work well are; roses, carnations, orchids, hydrangeas and statice. We can order them this way, or tint them in our shop once they arrive.

Don’t forget that adding a color to your bouquet doesn’t have to be all floral. We can use other items to add texture and color. We can wire almost anything and incorporate them into stems to be added like flowers. Recently we collaborated with one of our favorite vendors to have them make ribbon roses in a navy satin. Stay tuned for those pictures, we don’t want to ruin it for our bride in November!

Cake Flowers

One trend for your wedding cake is incorporating fresh floral. It has become a creative way to tie in your bridal bouquet and centerpieces into your cake as the perfect finishing touch. The mini cake featured is overflowing with gorgeous floral to reflect the theme of the wedding. This two-tiered wedding cake has such an edgy look! the succulents paired with the orange spray roses are the perfect way to dress this ruffled cake up. Would you believe this next cake is adorned with one single flower, the amazing peony! This is great way to dress up a mini cake. The fourth cake is complimented by white garden roses. Take advantage of the color and textures of flowers and don’t forget to let us help you dress up your cake!

Below are a few of our other favorites. The possibilities with cake and flowers are endless.
