Luxmore Grande Estate- Jewel Toned Romance

Katie and Austin’s was nothing but a show stopper at the Luxmore Grande Estate 2/4/17. We simply adored being a part of this loving couples special day. The contrasting shades of white and red hues made an unforgettable vision their guests will not soon forget. We loved working with all the different textures of greenery, succulents, cabbage, twine, wood, and sleek metal. Her bouquet was designed with contrasting colors to make the jewel toned floral pop! We created enchanting centerpieces with hanging globes on a whimsical tree. It was a gorgeous day filled with a ton of love.  We were just tickled to be working with these amazing vendors! Can’t wait till our next Luxmore Grande Estate wedding!

Winter Park Farmers Market – Southern Classic

Winter Park Farmers Market is a popular venue here in Orlando, and we love when our brides make it unique! Patrick and Laura chose a rustic and vintage design for their wedding. Everything from the babies breath that lined their aisle to the stacked vintage books on their ceremony tables was as unique as Patrick and Laura.

For the brides bouquet we used only the best flowers! From the gorgeous Juliet garden roses, the amazing blush clooney ranunculus, to the pop of blue from the thistle that finished it perfectly. Her bouquet is certainly one for the books! The sequined gold bridesmaids dresses and quirky groomsmen suits were a stylish finishing touch for this fun wedding.

Good Counsel Camp – Rustic Outdoor Wedding

We wanted to write about the floral, but then we contacted the bride to get the story of her wedding told in her words. From our Bride, Kayla.

My husband, Stephen, and I met when we were 14 years old at a little outdoor summer camp in Floral City, Florida called Good Counsel Camp (GCC). We met as campers and our love for that place and each other grew as we continued to go summer after summer. When we were too old to be campers, we became staff and worked as counselors until we graduated from college.

After 8 years of dating and a big move from Florida to New York City, Stephen proposed at Central Park on 12/13/14. We both knew right away where we wanted to get married. GCC was our favorite place in the world and we couldn’t imagine a “best day ever” without that place.

Unfortunately, earlier that year, a fire burned down the center of and the biggest structure on GCC’s property- the Mess Hall. Without even a foundation of a new Mess Hall (aka the reception location), we agreed that we would get married there the next year. Through the generosity of other alumni and supporters who loved the camp as much as we did, it was rebuilt by the following summer… this time with AC and bathrooms (imagine a wedding without that!).

For our wedding, multiple friends, family members and vendors helped transform our little camp (not typically a venue) into an even more breathtaking place. There is nothing that will ever compare to walking down the “aisle” into the GCC chapel, a walk I had taken daily in summers past- this time ending with all my loved ones from different parts of my life under one roof. Stephen and I enjoyed every second of our ceremony and reception and feel so grateful to GCC for bringing us together.

The Veranda

We love a rustic, organic wedding. It happens to be our speciality. We have some new inventory that allows this to be more than natural. We had some help adjusting our birch wood arch into a beautiful Chuppah with antique lace, ivy and white floral. We used white wash boxes, bird cages, moss and succulents. Don’t forget you can re-purpose your ceremony decor to your reception!

Southern Weddings – Citrus Shoot

We are all so excited to be published in Southern Weddings again. Please click here to view on Southern Weddings or you can enjoy some of our work below.

Starting out 2015 with some of the most beautiful images of citrus and love, thanks to Bumby Photography. Bonnie with Mobella Events created a list of vendors that are mostly the Preferred Vendors from Peachtree House. This beautiful 1928 historic home in College Park, just outside of downtown Orlando is the prefect location for an English Country Estate Wedding or Event. This home sits on two acres directly on Lake Concord which gives a perfect backdrop with the established trees with long hanging Spanish moss.
