Alice in Weddingland : An Alice in Wonderland Inspired Styled Shoot

When whimsy meets weddings, the result is nothing short of magical. At Club Lake Wedding Venue, we recently had the opportunity to bring the enchanting world of "Alice in Wonderland" to life in a wedding styled shoot that would make Lewis Carroll himself proud. With light blue and pink floral accents, we transformed our venue into a wonderland that Alice herself would have adored.

The focal point of our "Alice in Weddingland" styled shoot was the lush, whimsical, and colorful deconstructed arch used for the ceremony setup. A blend of soft pastels, light blues, and pinks created an ethereal atmosphere that transported us straight to Wonderland. The arch was adorned with a variety of flowers, from roses to delphinium, and was filled with mossy branches and organic greenery to give it a dreamy, overgrown look.

The playful twist on a traditional wedding arch perfectly captured the spirit of Alice's adventures. It was as if we had stepped through the looking glass and into a world where anything was possible.

The reception setup was a sight to behold, with a single long table adorned with a whimsical display of sporadic floral arrangements in bud vases and teapots. Each place setting felt like it belonged at the Mad Hatter's tea party, complete with whimsical mismatched china and vintage cutlery.

No Wonderland-inspired shoot would be complete without a whimsical dessert display. Our cake cart was a fun, fabulous creation adorned with a gorgeous cake and surrounded by greenery and floral accents. The cake itself was a masterpiece, featuring a dreamy pastel palette and intricate detailing, reminiscent of the Queen of Hearts' finest confections.

To top it all off, we didn't stop at the traditional wedding settings. We moved some of these whimsical pieces to a different area at the venue, creating a lounge area with vintage chairs and rugs. This transformed the venue into a versatile space that can accommodate various aspects of your wedding day, from the ceremony to the reception and even a cozy lounge for guests to relax and enjoy the festivities.
