Modern Orchid Florals with a Moody Burgundy, Ivory, and Green Wedding Palette

A Love Story Set in an Italian Fairytale

Nestled among olive trees and timeless architecture, Villa Serafina provided the perfect setting for Briza and Mau's romantic wedding day. Inspired by the charm of the Italian countryside, the venue's warm stone textures and elegant surroundings created a backdrop that felt both intimate and grand.

From the moment guests arrived, every detail reflected the couple's vision. Rich plum and burgundy tones were layered with soft ivory blooms, chartreuse accents, and unexpected textural elements to create a celebration that felt artistic, personal, and unforgettable.

A Bridal Bouquet Designed to Make a Statement

Briza's bouquet was anything but traditional. Designed with defined lines and sculptural movement, it featured an eclectic mix of orchids, trailing hyacinth strands, and specialty blooms that created a modern yet romantic silhouette.

Wrapped in chartreuse velvet, the bouquet introduced a bold pop of color while complementing the wedding's rich palette of burgundy, dusty mauve, ivory, and lime green. The result was a floral design that felt expressive, fashion-forward, and completely reflective of her personality.

A Ceremony Framed by Floral Art, Green Hydrangea, Amaranthus, and Fruit

The ceremony altar became a true focal point of the day. Rather than creating matching arrangements, each floral piece was intentionally designed with its own unique character, allowing guests to discover new details from every angle.

Displayed atop white columns, silver urns, and compotes, the arrangements featured orchids, lilies, hydrangea, Queen Anne's lace, amaranthus, ornamental grasses, pomegranates, grapes, and moss. The combination of florals and fruit added depth and texture while creating a design that felt collected, artistic, and full of movement.

The ceremony itself was equally memorable. Emotional first-look moments with both her father and Mau, joyful bridesmaids, and meaningful exchanges throughout the day were captured beautifully through artistic imagery that felt timeless while still embracing a modern editorial style.

A Romantic Candlelit Reception Filled with Texture and Romance

As guests transitioned into the reception, the ceremony florals were thoughtfully repurposed to frame the sweetheart table, allowing the designs to continue telling their story throughout the evening. Candelabras, taper candles, and glowing votives filled the room with warm light, creating an atmosphere that felt romantic and inviting.

The reception tables embraced a layered approach to design. Long tables featured gold boat containers filled with delicate ikebana-inspired floral arrangements, surrounded by fruit, green votives, and clusters of LED pillar candles. On guest tables, airy floral bowls overflowing with moss and grapes were paired with mixed-metal candleholders and clear ribbed votives, creating a look that felt collected rather than overly formal.

One of our favorite details was the continued use of ikebana-inspired designs throughout the celebration, including the guest book table. These intentional floral moments added a sense of artistry and balance while reinforcing the couple's desire to create something unique and deeply personal.

Creating a Wedding That Feels Like You

One of the most beautiful aspects of Briza and Mau's wedding was their commitment to designing a celebration that reflected who they are. From sculptural orchids and cascading textures to fruit-filled arrangements and meaningful moments shared with loved ones, every detail felt intentional.

We believe the most memorable weddings aren't about following trends—they're about creating an experience that tells your story. Briza and Mau's wedding at Villa Serafina was a beautiful reminder that when you embrace the details you love, your wedding becomes something truly unforgettable. ✨

Briza and Mau share a moment at their ceremony surrounded by artistic floral altar arrangements designed with sculptural orchids, amaranthus, hydrangea, lilies, fruit elements, and rich burgundy and ivory blooms.
