Calla Lilies meet Garden Style: A Bella Collina Wedding

This past September, Katherine and Nick said “I do” in one of Central Florida’s most iconic venues—Bella Collina, where Tuscan charm meets rolling hillside views. Their vision blended two worlds beautifully: an organic garden aesthetic layered with a clean, classic twist. And at the heart of their floral story? Katherine’s favorite flower: the calla lily.

From ceremony to reception, these elegant blooms guided the design and brought a cohesive, timeless feel to every moment of the day.

A Ceremony on the Grand Lawn

Set on Bella Collina’s grand lawn, the ceremony overlooked the sweeping stone architecture and stunning vistas the venue is known for. The couple wanted a look that felt airy, organic, and effortless—almost as if the florals had naturally grown into place.

Their ceremony arch showcased this beautifully: a wispy, deconstructed design layered with lush greenery and crisp white blooms. The structure felt light and romantic, framing Katherine and Nick with movement and texture rather than symmetry or heaviness.

Down the aisle, we continued the classic look with floral chair ties—simple white calla lilies paired with garden greenery and finished with soft hanging ribbons. At the entrance, guests were welcomed by two tiers of grand arrangements set in elegant urns atop columns. These large-scale pieces created a statement moment and set the tone for the luxurious garden feel.

And for Katherine’s bouquet? A true classic—an elegant, all–white calla lily bouquet, clean and sculptural, the perfect reflection of her timeless style.

A Dramatic Atrium Moment

Bella Collina’s iconic atrium fountain is always a guest favorite, and Katherine and Nick wanted it to feel like a floral focal point. We dressed both levels of the fountain with dramatic floral pieces, adding fullness, movement, and elegance without overwhelming the architecture.

This design created a stunning welcome for guests as they entered the venue—and later became a showstopper during cocktail hour.

A Candlelit Ballroom Reception

As guests entered the ballroom, the mood shifted into pure romance. Candlelight glowed from every table, reflecting off Bella Collina’s elegant ballroom and creating a dreamy, intimate atmosphere.

The centerpieces were intentionally varied to keep the space visually interesting. On some tables, tall arrangements towered gracefully overhead—lush greenery spilling out beneath the long, elegant lines of large white calla lilies. On the remaining tables, low compote arrangements offered a softer, more delicate take on the classic white-and-green palette.

Every table was lined with taper candles and glowing votives, creating a warm, flickering glow that brought the floral designs to life.

To complete the look, we repurposed the ceremony arch as a grand backdrop behind the sweetheart table, giving the couple a lush, romantic frame throughout the evening.

A Floral Story Rooted in Style & Sentiment

Katherine and Nick’s Bella Collina wedding was the perfect blend of garden romance and classic elegance—light, lush, and full of meaningful details. With calla lilies leading the way, every floral design felt cohesive, personal, and timeless.

For couples who love a natural look but still want a clean, elevated feel, this white-and-green calla lily inspiration is a perfect example of how to balance the organic with the classic.

If you’d like florals that feel just as intentional and elegant for your upcoming wedding, we’d love to help bring your vision to life.
