Decorating the Most Important Walk of your Life!

How to transform your aisle!

The possibilities are endless when it comes to your aisle decor and floral. This is where you can make your most important walk picturesque. This walk will be one of the most photographed events of your day-flower girl, detail shots, and most importantly-YOU! Don’t forget you’ll actually be up and down the aisle two times, one of which you’ll be named as a newlywed for the first time. Bluegrass Chic is here to share ideas and photos of our past work to spark some inspiration for the most important walk of your life.

Aisle Markers

This is an easy way wow your guests and have an incredible floral element in your aisle. In this photo, we added white risers to the aisle to have some elevation on the pieces and they were repurposed in front of the DJ after. These pieces can also be taken off the risers to add a natural, garden feel.

Chair Ties

A simple and cost effective way to add the floral element to your day. Couples that have gorgeous landscape backdrops that don’t need much during their ceremony choose this item as a way to bring the pop of color to the chairs.

Altar Pieces at the front or the back of the aisle

This is one of our most requested items. A traditional piece that can be transformed into the look you are going for.

Petals!

There are so many ways to incorporate petals to your aisle. Simply adding them to the sides, scattering them down, or doing a design. We have even done a monogram design! Couples love this idea if they are not having a flower girl or want to add some romance to the space.

Garlands

Who doesn’t love garlands? These garlands have a specific woodsy feel to them that added to the theme of their day. We have done many different versions of this- on the chairs, on the back of the chairs coming in, and on the floor down the aisle.

Unique Pieces that compliment your design

This is the look that really brings everything together. We are happy to help walk you through design for this. The first and third picture was a “Speak Easy” theme wedding- you can read more about it here!

Candles

Candles to me scream romance- many may not know that we provide rentals as well (take a look at our rentals page to check out some photos). We have every candle you could think of-taper, floating, pillar, votive, brass. You name it! Candles in the aisle are

a simple, beautiful addition

Doors or an Arch at beginning of aisle

Many brides love having doors at the beginning of the aisle to add the surprise element to their walk down the aisle! We love this idea and this it the perfect place to add floral and decor.
